It is at the manufacturing plant in Lunenburg where the granite is cut, designed, lettered and then sandblasted. Memorials are produced start to finish by the hands of local skilled craftspeople. In addition to the plant and head office in Lunenburg, DeMone Monuments has offices in Bridgewater, Bedford (Halifax) and Valley (Kentville) and there are also representatives throughout Nova Scotia. Although DeMone Monuments supply other granite products such as benches, garden features, steps, fireplace hearths, table tops and signs…. memorials still represent the largest section of the business.

In 1984, DeMone Monuments purchased Dauphinee Memorial Art in Shelburne, NS. This company had been involved in the granite industry since 1908. With the merge of these two companies, DeMone Monuments can claim over 150 years of memorial manufacturing experience. DeMone Monuments & Granite Products Ltd. take pride in producing and customizing a high quality product that is meaningful to the customer and that is manufactured locally.
